When you want to get away from the hustle of city living here is a new and very affordable Country Carriage House. Otter Lane is a warm and relaxing 450 square foot sanctuary located only one hour from downtown Vancouver. It boasts a fully contained bachelor suite above a detached garage situated on ten beautiful acres in South Langley. The farm consists of a year round pond, horse, chickens, and dog, plus resident barn owls and great horned owl. Construction on the Owner designed and built Carriage House was completed in September of 2011 and offers on-site parking, full internet access and plenty of privacy. This suite is fully equipped and tastefully furnished for comfort.
Conveniently located 15 minutes from the Trans Canada Highway (HWY #1), 5 minutes from the Aldergrove border crossing to the USA, 45 minutes from the Tsawwassen ferry terminal, 15 minutes from Abbotsford Airport (YXX), 50 minutes from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) , 15 minutes from Thunderbird Horse Show Park and about a 25 minute drive along quiet country roads to the Historic Village of Fort Langley.
Whether it is for business or pleasure, horse show or convention, weekend get-a-way or extended stay, our conveniently located coach house allows for quick and easy trips to your destination. Langley is considered the horse capital of British Columbia, but it also boasts fantastic golf courses, wineries, hiking trails, restaurants, shopping and the Vancouver Zoo.

Summary: Could not have hoped for a better place to stay a few weeks. Peaceful country setting with only the frogs, birds or horse to break the complete silence but less than :10 to town. Prepare to want to move here after your stay!

Summary: Lovely place to stay for thanksgiving weekend. Property was in a lovely location and the accommodations were all we could ask for. The hosts had supplied their suite over and above what one could expect. Would definitely look forward to staying there again.

Summary: Beautiful inside and out,everything you need in the property and very nice decor.peace and quie t,out amongst the farms but only 10 mins from civilisation. Could,nt fault it and next time we return to canada i,m sure this place will be top of our list of where to stay.

Summary: The carriage house was very well appointed with all the amenities we needed for our stay. The hosts were wonderful, friendly and welcoming. Great views, nice trails for a ride/walk. Close enough to town to be convenient, far enough away to very very quiet and safe. We will be back!!
